Strengthening Relationships -because every child matters and every moment counts

Welcome

Welcome,

This is the  Sherwood Area Partnership website. We are a group of 50 primary schools in the Mansfield and Sherwood districts of Nottinghamshire who work together to support our families and children when social, emotional or mental health needs are preventing a child from thriving. We work to understand, to build connections and relationships and put the best provision in place so that children feel supported and cared for. We know that in order to be successful at school, and in life, children need to be surrounded by adults who understand the impact that social, emotional or mental health needs can have, and that relationships with those adults are the key to a child managing and moving forwards from a difficult time.

The partnership is supported by a small team of SEMH Specialist Teachers, SEMH support workers, an Outdoor Learning teacher, a counsellor and a Parent Support Worker who work with school staff, parents and a range of professionals to ensure all children are being supported appropriately.

This website is for our 50 partnership schools to share information and a place to share and celebrate our good news.

Thank you for visiting our website,
