Sherwood Area Partnership staff wellbeing 2022

One of the key actions in our Development Plan this year is to find creative ways of encouraging staff in our schools to join together and strengthen the feeling of 'supportive caring teams'.

We are doing this in a variety of ways:

  • 5 minute ice breaker activities to start staff meetings
  • a Big SAP event each term. In the autumn term we produced a Big SAP Christmas video, for the Spring schools have been invited to host a Big SAP Tea Party for one of their staff meetings and in the summer we will be organising a Big SAP Picnic.
  • Family Support Worker network events
  • coffee afternoons for SENCOs
  • coffee afternoons for Head Teachers
  • You're a Star nominations for our newsletters where staff can nominate each other for a mention
  • SAP Random Acts of Kindness - a bar of chocolate and a thank you delivered by the SAP to staff in schools
